COLUMBIA CITY, Ore. No one was injured in the crash, but a natural gas leak closed the highway for three hours and cut off service to nearby residents until crews could make repairs. VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) – Washington Gov. Jay Inslee is visiting Vancouver today to meet with local business leaders about plans for a new Interstate 5 over the Columbia River connecting with Portland. Oregon recently approved putting in $450 million toward the project. Washington has to kick in a similar amount to secure federal funding. Still in dispute is whether the bridge should extend Portland’s light-rail system into Vancouver.
