CLATSKANIE, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State Police say an 8-year-old Longview boy who was injured in a crash April 14 near Clatskanie has died. Police say Noah Waite-Brown was injured in the crash that also killed his father, 36-year-old Lucas Brown. Six other people, including three more children, were injured in the head-on crash.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The search for an Oklahoma teenager who set out to test himself against the wilderness in the wilds of southeastern Oregon has been suspended indefinitely until conditions improve. Harney County Sheriff Dave Glerup says no search is planned until weather improves and snow begins to melt.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The Washington County Sheriff’s office says bomb experts safely detonated a pipe bomb found in a field in a rural part of the county Saturday. Deputies were told by a 56-year-old man that he had found the device. The sheriff’s office says it does not know who left it in the field.

REDMOND, Ore. (AP) – The Deschutes County sheriff’s office has seized four dogs and cited their owner for an April 7 attack near Redmond that seriously injured a man and his dog. The Bend Bulletin says the sheriff’s office plans to refer the case to the district attorney’s office. The dogs were taken to an animal shelter in Redmond.
