PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) – A Umatilla County woman who was assaulted six months ago in a home invasion robbery has died. The East Oregonian reports 80-year-old Joyce Key of died Saturday. Three Walla Walla men are facing burglary, robbery and assault charges in the Jan. 30 attack on Key at her home in the Umapine area. The district attorney says he’s considering murder charges against the three.

BOARDMAN, Ore. (AP) – The Boardman Coal Plant is generating electricity again after repairs to a steam pipe that cost $10 million. The 3-foot diameter pipe was knocked off its hangars July 1 by thermal water hammer, which is caused by a sudden change in pressure from mixing cold and hot liquids. PGE serves more than 800,000 customers in Portland, Salem and the northern Willamette Valley.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The NBA has suspended Portland Trail Blazers guard Terrel Harris for five games for violating the league’s drug policy. Harris was acquired by the Blazers from the Pelicans in July as part of a three-way trade. Details about the nature of the violation were not disclosed.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The Portland metro area has long been pointed to as a hub for child sex trafficking, but the evidence was anecdotal and proof elusive. Now, the U.S. attorney’s office says it has the first clear data on commercial sex exploitation of children, counting 469 Portland victims between 2009 and 2013. U.S. Attorney Amanda Marshall says those numbers are a conservative tabulation of the scope of the problem.
