Here is the latest Washington, Oregon and Alaska sports news from The Associated Press

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Goran Dragic had 19 points and the Phoenix Suns held off a fourth-quarter rally by the Portland Trail Blazers for a 104-98 preseason victory last night. Damian Lillard scored 19 points for Portland, while Allen Crabbe had 14. Portland’s Thomas Robinson was ejected in the second quarter for throwing an elbow.

SEATTLE (AP) – Kekuta Manneh recorded the first hat trick of his MLS career and the Vancouver Whitecaps kept their playoff hopes alive with a 4-1 win over the Seattle Sounders last night. Manneh took advantage of breakdowns in Seattle’s back line for goals in the 12th, 42nd and 54th minutes. Vancouver denied Seattle a chance to clinch the Cascadia Cup – the regional rivalry between the Sounders, Whitecaps and Portland Timbers. Seattle must win Sunday at Portland to claim regional bragging rights, otherwise it’ll go to Vancouver.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) – Seattle Seahawks starting middle linebacker Bobby Wagner will likely be a game-time decision because of a high ankle sprain suffered last week against Indianapolis. Coach Pete Carroll said yesterday the status of Wagner and tight end Zach Miller against Tennessee will probably not be known until pregame warm-ups Sunday. If Wagner can’t go, Seattle could slide outside linebacker K.J. Wright into the middle.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) – Russell Wilson has run for the fifth-most yards of any offensive player in the NFL over the past two weeks. But much of what Wilson has done on the ground is because of the pressure he has faced because of Seattle Seahawks playing with a makeshift offensive line. But they may be turning the corner of health with the expectation that All-Pro center Max Unger will be back on Sunday against Tennessee.

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) – Stanford coach David Shaw says he misspoke when detailing the nature of linebacker Shayne Skov’s knee injury while disputing Washington coach Steve Sarkisian’s allegations that the Cardinal faked injuries in a 31-28 win over the Huskies last Saturday. Shaw initially said Tuesday that Skov had an MRI exam on his surgically repaired left knee. But video shows Skov limping off the field in the fourth quarter clutching his right knee.
