PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Damian Lillard scored 25 points, making five 3-pointers, and the Portland Trail Blazers held off the Detroit Pistons 109-103 last night. LaMarcus Aldridge added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Blazers, who led by as many as 13 points in the second half. It was Portland’s sixth straight victory at home over the Pistons.

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) – Gary Bell Jr. scored all of his 24 points on 3-pointers and No. 15 Gonzaga routed Colorado State 93-61 last night. Gerard Coleman added 16 points and Kevin Pangos had 13 for Gonzaga (2-0). Jon Octeus led Colorado State (1-1) with 27 points. Gonzaga made 14 3-pointers against the Rams.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Sophomore Deven Hunter had 13 points and a career-high 13 rebounds and Oregon State defeated Cal State Bakersfield 80-49 last night. Sydney Wiese added 10 points and five assists for Oregon State, which is 2-0 to start the season after a victory over Corban in the opener on Friday night. Hunter reached her first career double-double.

SEATTLE (AP) -The Huskies are working on a quick turnaround this week as they prepare to meet No. 13 UCLA on Friday.. The short schedule forces the Huskies to speed up the practice schedule so yesterday’s workout was a blend of what the team would accomplish in two days. Washington dismantled Colorado on Saturday night
