PHOENIX (AP) – Goran Dragic scored 31 points, Channing Frye added 25 and the Phoenix Suns used their up-tempo style to recover from a poor start and beat Portland 120-106 last night and snap the Trail Blazers’ 11-game winning streak. The game was the Blazers first loss since Nov. 5 against Houston. LaMarcus Aldridge had 24 points and Damian Lillard scored 16 points for the Blazers.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -Kevin Baily scored 22 points to lead Portland to an 86-69 win over San Jose State last night. Portland (4-3) took a four-point lead into the break but pushed that lead to 12 to open the half. San Jose State (2-5) would never get closer than 7 points for the rest of the game. Rashad Muhammad was a bright spot for San Diego State, scoring 23 points.

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) -Kevin Pangos scored 34 points and No. 11 Gonzaga beat Arkansas 91-81 on Wednesday in the Maui Invitational. Pangos made seven of eight 3-point attempts, including four during a 3-minute stretch in the second half that led the Bulldogs to an 18-point lead. Gonzaga (6-1) never trailed.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -Oregon head coach Dana Altman has received a three-year contract extension that will keep him in charge of the Ducks through the 2019-20 season. The Ducks finished 28-9 while advancing to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament last season. Altman is in his fourth season as coach and was named the Pac-12 coach of the year.
