PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police say a man fatally shot in southeast Portland has been identified. The Oregonian reports 41-year-old Marc Anthony Leverett died Tuesday night of multiple gunshot wounds. Police yesterday said detectives have very little information and are asking for the public’s help.

STEVENSON, Wash. (AP) – A Skamania County, Wash., sheriff’s officer says two Oregon men are recovering after they slipped off an icy trail in the Columbia River Gorge. Undersheriff Dave Cox says 75-year-old James VanLente slipped yesterday more than 20 feet and 68-year-old Martin Schwartz fell 150 feet trying to help him. VanLente was able to get back to the trail and meet a sheriff’s deputy.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State Police say an SUV hit by a train south of Klamath Falls on Tuesday was driving on a gravel road and crossed the tracks at a marked railroad crossing. State police say the driver, 33-year-old MacKenzie Conway, and 25-year-old Kalla Conway died at the scene. Twenty-seven Nicholas Conway has been hospitalized in serious condition.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A Salem woman convicted with her husband of producing child pornography videos of two young girls has been sentenced to 25 years in prison. The Oregonian reports Michelle Lee Freeman was sentenced yesterday in federal court in Portland. She and Michael Freeman were arrested in September 2012 after investigators asked for help identifying a woman who appeared in pornographic images with the children.
