BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) – Rock Creek Elementary has been wiped clean. KGW-TV reports that crews at the school in Beaverton completed the laborious task of disinfecting the entire school Saturday. That came after Friday’s school closure due to a suspected norovirus outbreak that sickened more than 100 students.

BANKS, Ore. (AP) – Oregon authorities say both drivers involved in a head-on crash were driving impaired. The Oregon State Police said the yesterday morning crash on Highway 26 near Banks sent three people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said 18-year-old Zacharry Olson of Banks was traveling eastbound in the wrong lane when the accident occurred. Banks was cited for driving under the influence. Twenty-three-year-old Jamie France of Redmond was driving the other vehicle. Authorities said she was also cited for driving under the influence.

SISTERS, Ore. (AP) – Four people are recovering from burns sustained after someone poured gasoline on a warming fire in Sisters. KTVZ-TV reports that the incident occurred Saturday night. Deschutes County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ty Rupert says the group decided to pour gasoline on a fire but the gas ignited and caused the entire gasoline can to explode, severely burning four people.

MILTON-FREEWATER, Ore. (AP) – Milton-Freewater officials are concerned the city will be required to spend millions to provide water to a trailer park outside city limits. Their worries stem from a vote taken last year by the Umatilla County Board of Commissioners. It deemed the wells a public health threat because they are sometimes contaminated with E. coli bacteria.
