COOS BAY, Ore. (AP) – Several people reported feeling a magnitude 5.1 quake that was recorded about 250 miles off the Oregon coast but there were no immediate reports of damage. The U.S. Geological Survey reports the quake hit late yesterday afternoon and was centered west-northwest of Coos Bay at a depth of 6 miles. Those reporting “weak shaking” came from Portland, Cape Meares on the Oregon coast and Willits, Calif.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The percentage of young adults signing up for insurance coverage via Oregon’s troubled health-insurance exchange is tied for last nationwide. Federal officials say people age 18- to-34 make up just 18 percent of the sign-ups for private insurance through Cover Oregon. Nationwide, the age group accounts for 25 percent of total enrollment.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – A woman who claimed ties to white supremacist prison gangs has pleaded guilty in federal court to a conspiracy that involved four deaths in three states, guaranteeing herself a life sentence. Holly Grigsby and David Pedersen were accused of killing of Pedersen’s father and stepmother in Everett, an Oregon teenager and a California man.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies solidified their hold on the final Western Conference playoff spot with a 109-99 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers last night. Damian Lillard led the Trail Blazers with 32 points on 8-of-21 shooting from the field, but connecting on 12 of 13 free throws. LaMarcus Aldridge had 19 points and 10 rebounds.
