The man who was killed collapsed on the street near Wilson High School. Police say they found a gun beside him.

FOREST GROVE, Ore. (AP) – Police pulled over a car in Forest Grove that was driven by a 7-year-old girl sitting on her mother’s lap. Witnesses had reported the woman appeared intoxicated yesterday, but police found she had a medical condition. She was treated at the scene. Police cited the woman for reckless endangering.

SALEM, Ore. (AP) – A serial rapist from Portland has asked for an April parole hearing to be called off. Richard Gillmore says in a note to the state parole board that a hearing would be pointless given that he’s been turned down three times before. The Oregonian reports the board has granted his wish, determining he’s still a danger to society and putting off the next hearing until 2016.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) – The San Antonio Spurs rolled to their eighth straight win with a 103-90 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers last night. Damian Lillard had 23 points for Portland, which lost LaMarcus Aldridge to a bruised back early in the second half. San Antonio’s bench outscored Portland’s 46-23.
