PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Police helped evacuate about 1,500 concert-goers last night after structural damage was noticed at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland. The Oregonian reports rapper Schoolboy Q was performed at the sold-out show. Police say structural damage to a support beam created an unsafe situation for an upstairs section of the building.

CRESWELL, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State Police are looking for four people who were seen on an Interstate 5 overpass about the time a cement block was dropped onto a car window. The block crashed through the windshield and injured a 30-year-old woman passenger in the car early yesterday morning about five miles south of Eugene. She was treated at a hospital and released.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State Police says a 42-year-old Lake County sheriff’s deputy has surrendered to face charges that he had a sexual relationship with a missing teenage girl. The 17-year-old girl was found unharmed yesterday afternoon after authorities sent out a statewide alert. State police says that Kenneth Turkle surrendered Sunday morning.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – LaMarcus Aldridge scored 26 points, including the go-ahead jumper in overtime as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated Golden State 119-117 last night. Both teams are jockeying for final position in the Western Conference. Portland is in fifth place behind Houston and Golden State sits behind the Blazers in sixth.
