VENETA, Ore. (AP) – Oregon State Police say a 29-year-old man has been killed in a motorcycle crash in Veneta. Troopers from Springfield and Florence are investigating the crash that happened last night.

BEND, Ore. (AP) – Authorities say a La Pine man faces animal neglect charges after two horses and a dog were seized from his property. Deschutes County deputies served a search warrant on Roy Milhous’ property on Saturday. They had already seized on horse from Milhous in November, but seized another two after their health declined. A female Rottweiler also was seized because she was confined to a small enclosure and was in need of medical care.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Most Oregon ranchers whose herds graze federal land are prompt to pay their fees, in contrast to the Nevada rancher who owes the government more than $1 million. The Oregonian reports that the BLM has about 1,000 Oregon ranchers paying grazing fees each year. As of late April, bureau officials say, only two had bills unpaid 60 days or more.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Damian Lillard scored 25 points and the Portland Trail Blazers staved off elimination in the Western Conference semifinals with a 103-92 victory over the San Antonio Spurs last night. Portland held Tony Parker to 14 points after he had scored 29 points or more in three of his last four playoff games. Game 5 is tomorrow night in San Antonio.
