Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports…
Spokane and Eugene split two games on the diamond at PK Park yesterday afternoon. The Emeralds were the visiting team in the opener… a makeup from a rainout in Spokane two weeks ago. They scored three runs in the first; two in the second, and cruised to a 5-run shutout win.
In the nightcap, roles reversed with the Indians up first. They scored five runs in the first three innings and eased their way to a ten run shutout win.
The two teams meet again this evening in Eugene.
The Three Rivers Sandblasters are back on the diamond this afternoon at Jiggs Dodson Field in Florence. They’ll face the Withnell Dodgers for two games. First pitch will be at two… airtime on Coast Radio Sports will be at 1:45.
