Siuslaw Faces Tough Battle in Klamath Falls
Siuslaw will travel to Klamath Falls for a Saturday afternoon football playoff game against Mazama. The Skyline League champion Mazama Vikings are eight-and-oh and the number three ranked team in the state. The have shown to have a pretty prolific offense, averaging 45 points per game, while their stingy defense has only given up, on average, eight points.
Siuslaw is six-and-three overall and the 14th seed in the playoffs. The hometown Vikings’ offense averages 32 points per game; while the defense gives up 18.
The two teams kick off at one pm Saturday, the game will air on Coast Radio Sports beginning at 12:45.
