Athlete of the Week
Siuslaw baseball standout Brad Snow is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the week. The right-handed senior pitched a complete-game-two-hitter for the win against Douglas last week. He helped himself at the plate as well. With the score tied in the bottom of the final frame, he beat out an infield hit and eventually scored the winning run.
Honorable mention goes to Viking softball’s Taylor Dotson who had three home runs; two of them in the same inning; accounting for seven RBI in a game last week against Douglas.
On the prep schedule
Siuslaw Softball is at home against the North Bend Bulldogs. Viking Baseball is at Clyde Allen field in North Bend. Both games start at five… baseball will air on Coast Radio Sports with the pregame show at 4:45.
Siuslaw Track and Field will be in Philomath this evening for a four-way meet that includes the Warriors along with Cascade and North Marion.
