Taking a look at Coast Radio Sports:

The Pac-12 will use injury spotters during football games. The spotters will closely watch every play and have the ability to rewind, pause, zoom and change camera angles to evaluate players for possible injuries. The spotters will be able to directly communicate with coaches and medical staff.

Pac-12 University presidents and chancellors approved the spotter system at the conference’s summer meetings over the weekend.

The league also announced yesterday that each school will now have a student-athlete as part of its delegation at the Conference Council summer and fall meetings. The group also voted to make women’s sand volleyball a sponsored sport effective in the coming school year.
