UNDATED (AP) – The Seattle Mariners head down to Southern California to face off against the San Diego Padres tonight. The Mariners are coming off a 2-3 loss against the Los Angeles Angels.

PHOENIX (AP) – Welington Castillo doubled home the go-ahead run in the eighth inning, capping a pair of comebacks by the Arizona Diamondbacks in a 10-6 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers last night. Castillo doubled off reliever Pedro Baez (1-1) to drive in Jake Lamb with none out. The Diamondbacks, who trailed 4-0 and 6-4, added three more runs in the inning on a bunt single, a throwing error by Baez, and Paul Goldschmidt’s two-out, two-run single off J.P. Howell.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) – Josh Reddick and Ike Davis hit two-run homers in the first inning to back seven scoreless innings from Kendall Graveman, and the Oakland Athletics snapped a three-game losing streak by beating the Colorado Rockies 7-1 last night. Billy Butler also homered off David Hale (2-3) and scored three runs as power-starved Oakland matched its season high for homers.

UNDATED (AP) – The Seattle Sounders are preparing to host the DC United at CenturyLink Field on Friday. The Sounders are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Portland Timbers. DC United is coming off a 0-0 tie against Toronto FC.
