RENTON, Wash. (AP) – Two people with knowledge of the situation say Seattle Seahawks running back Fred Jackson was uninjured when his car crashed outside the team’s facility. The crash happened yesterday afternoon, about 48 hours before the Seahawks face San Francisco. The people spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the accident. Jackson was taken back to the team’s facility and reported no injuries.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) – The Seattle Seahawks have activated fullback Derrick Coleman following his suspension after a car crash that led to his arrest and re-signed center Lemuel Jeanpierre. Seattle coach Pete Carroll had announced the team’s intention of reinstating Coleman on Monday. Coleman was arrested for investigation of vehicular assault and hit-and-run last week, but no charges have been filed.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – The Pac-12 has become the first major conference to integrate student-athletes into its official voting governance structure. The conference says it is adding the Pac-12 Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) to conference athletic directors, faculty athletic representatives and the senior woman administrators as the newest subgroup of the Pac-12 Council. SALT will be made up of 24 athletes, with two from each school, who will attend every Pac-12 council meeting.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) – Travis Zajac had a goal, two assists and set up Adam Larrson’s game-winner 43 seconds into overtime as the New Jersey Devils defeated the Arizona Coyotes 3-2 last night. Larsson slam dunked the game winner to cap a 3-on-1 break that started after he knocked Martin Hanzal off the puck in the Devils’ zone. Anthony Duclair and Mikkel Boedker scored for Arizona.
