Oregon added two more people to its list yesterday. Oregon health officials say 12 people have E. coli in Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington and Columbia counties.

PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) – A man reported he was assaulted when he stopped along Interstate 84 to clear tumbleweed from beneath his vehicle. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office says the man told investigators he was under his truck and saw a dark colored sedan pull in behind him. When he stood up, a man punched him in the mouth and then began to kick him while he was on the ground. The victim told police he believes the attacker was trying to steal his truck.
