CLEVELAND (AP) – LeBron James scored 33 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers rallied from an 18-point first-half deficit to beat the Portland Trail Blazers 105-100 last night. Kevin Love added 18 points and a second-half lineup adjustment by coach David Blatt helped Cleveland break a three-game losing streak. James, who didn’t play Saturday in Miami to rest, scored 14 points in the fourth quarter, including a 3-pointer and a three-point play down the stretch. He shot 14 for 24 from the field. Damian Lillard scored 33 points to lead Portland. C.J. McCollum added 24 points for the Trail Blazers.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – Ethan Telfair scored a season-high 24 points, Kyle Ingram scored the winning basket with 4 seconds left, and Idaho State rallied to beat Portland 66-65 last night, ending a four-game skid. Bryce Pressley scored 16 points and Gabe Taylor added 12 for Portland (4-6). The Pilots outrebounded the Bengals 42-36.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Seattle Mariners have added to their bullpen, acquiring right-handed reliever Evan Scribner from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for minor league pitcher Trey Cochran-Gill. Seattle general manager Jerry Dipoto said Scribner will compete for a spot in the bullpen. Scribner, 30, appeared in a career-high 54 games last season for the A’s.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) – The Timbers and their fans celebrated the team’s MLS Cup title with a parade through downtown Portland. The Timbers defeated the Columbus Crew 2-1 on Sunday in Ohio. Valeri scored 27 seconds into the match for the fastest goal in MLS Cup history.
