OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Kevin Durant scored 24 points, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 106-90 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers last night, extending the league’s longest current win streak to six games. Dion Waiters scored 18 points, Enes Kanter had 12 points and 13 rebounds and Steven Adams added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Thunder. Mason Plumlee added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Trail Blazers.

CHENEY, Wash. (AP) – Today’s game between Morehead State and Eastern Washington has been postponed because of bad weather in Denver. The schools have agreed to play the game next season. Officials say Morehead State’s flight to Spokane, Washington, was canceled yesterday due to bad weather in Denver.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) – Seattle Seahawks strong safety Kam Chancellor sat out practice yesterday with a tailbone injury suffered in last Sunday’s win over Baltimore. Chancellor was one of three starters on defense that did not participate due to injuries. Cornerback DeShawn Shead (ankle) and defensive end Michael Bennett (toe) also sat out.

SEATTLE (AP) – The Seattle Mariners have claimed right-handed pitcher A.J. Schugel off waivers from the Arizona Diamondbacks. Seattle acquired Schugel and designated for assignment left-handed pitcher Tyler Olson. Olson started last season in the majors with Seattle and appeared in 11 games before landing on the disabled list.
