Travel considerations force cancellation of Mt. West basketball game
Bad weather and travel conditions prompted cancellation of last night’s scheduled basketball games between Siletz Valley and Mapleton. The games will be rescheduled.
The Sailors are expected to be on the court tomorrow afternoon at home against Pacific High School. The girls tip off at 1:30… the boys at three.
Viking boys looking for first win
Siuslaw basketball will host the Cottage Grove Lions for nonleague basketball this evening. The girls tip off at six, the boys immediately following. The pregame show on KCST is at 5:45.
Prep wrestling tomorrow…
The Siuslaw Vikings are at the Myrtle Point Invitational.
College basketball
Oregon will host Long Beach State. Due to a schedule conflict with Siuslaw basketball that game will not air.
Oregon State opens the newly revived Far West Classic in Portland… they’ll take on Cal State Fullerton at 7:30 tonight. The pregame show on KCFM is at seven. The Beavers and the Tulsa Hurricane tip off at 8:00 tomorrow; pregame is at 7:30.
