Here is the latest Washington, Oregon and Alaska sports news from The Associated Press

SEATTLE (AP) – Pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma (hee-sash-ee ee-wah-koo-mah) will receive his $1 million signing bonus from the Seattle Mariners in three equal payments through 2017 as part of his contract that guarantees $12 million but could be worth up to $47.5 million over three years. Iwakuma will get installments on Dec. 31 this year and Dec. 1 in each of the following two years.

SEATTLE (AP) – The marks Doug Baldwin and Russell Wilson set on Sunday in Seattle’s 30-13 win over Cleveland overshadowed the Seahawks clinching a playoff berth for the fourth straight season. Wilson was 21 of 30 for 249 yards and three touchdowns. Baldwin joined Jerry Rice as the only wide receivers in NFL history with 10 TDs over a four-game span in a single season.

ATLANTA (AP) – Dennis Schroder took advantage of Portland’s depleted backcourt to score 18 points and the Atlanta Hawks beat the Portland Trail Blazers 106-97 on Monday night for their fourth straight win. Schroder, Atlanta’s backup point guard, lost a tooth in a collision early in the fourth period but still led six Atlanta scorers in double figures.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Gabriella Hanson matched her career high with 19 points and No. 11 Oregon State used a smothering defense to overwhelm Cal Poly 80-43 on Monday. Jamie Weisner added 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting and Marie Gulich had 14 for the Beavers (9-1), who held the Mustangs (6-6) to 21.5 percent shooting (14 of 65).
