GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) – Russell Wilson threw three touchdown passes in a second-quarter outburst and the Seattle Seahawks emphatically snapped Arizona’s nine-game winning streak with a 36-6 rout of the Cardinals yesterday. The Seahawks (10-6) dominated from their opening possession and led 30-6 at the half. Tyler Lockett set up three of Seattle’s four first-half touchdowns with punt returns.

DENVER (AP) – CJ McCollum had 25 points and seven assists, leading the Portland Trail Blazers to a 112-106 victory over the Denver Nuggets last night. Gerald Henderson scored 19 points and Al-Farouq Aminu had 14 for Portland, which has won four of its last five. Allen Crabbe also scored 14 points. Denver closed to 91-88 but Henderson’s 3-pointer made it 97-88 midway through the final period.

PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) – Josh Hawkinson had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Washington State beat No. 25 UCLA 85-78 last night, notching a rare win over the Bruins. Que Johnson and Renard Suggs each scored 14 points for Washington State (9-5, 1-1 Pac-12). The Cougars lost to Southern California in the conference opener on Friday.

CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Tres Tinkle scored 19 points to lead Oregon State to a 70-57 victory over Oregon in a Pac-12 Conference opener last night. Olaf Schaftenaar had 13 points and a career-high eight rebounds, and Gary Payton II added 12 points and six assists for the Beavers (10-2, 1-0 Pac-12), who won their fourth straight.
