Siuslaw came away from the Sky-West Crossover tournament with a split… losing Friday afternoon to Phoenix 51-47, then coming out on top 48-44 Saturday over Klamath Union.

The Mapleton Sailors picked up their first win of the season, 13-7, Friday night over Eddyville.

For the boys:

The losing streak extended to 11 for Siuslaw with a pair of losses at the Sky-West… Friday to Klamath Union 38-28; Saturday morning to Phoenix… 48-25.

The Mapleton Sailors held on for a 38-37 win Friday night over the Eddyville Eagles.

Viking Wrestlers at Bend Invitational

Andrew Tupua won the 160-pound title at the 10-team Bend Invitational. Tupua won his first match in 38-seconds with a pin; his second by an 8-7 decision; then pinned Mountain View’s Izaak Moffit in 1:41 for the crown.

Ricky Huff was second at 113 pounds; Dylan Jennings was the runner-up at 285.

Pac-12 basketball…

The Oregon men dominated Stanford for a 71-58 win in Eugene yesterday. In Corvallis, Oregon State edged Cal 77-71.

11th ranked Oregon State Women demolished Oregon Friday night in Corvallis 60-33 for the first of two Civil War games over the weekend. Yesterday, The Ducks led by one at the half but Oregon State dominated in the second half for a 59-45 win.
