Viking cagers earn Athlete of the Week honors
Siuslaw basketball standout Preston Mitchell is Coast Radio Sports’ Athlete of the Week. The senior guard led scoring with a season high 18 points in a hard fought loss last week to top ranked Marshfield Pirates.
Honorable mention is given to sophomore forward Jared Brandt for his aggressive and outstanding defense on the court for the Vikings.
