CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) – Jamie Weisner scored from deep and on slashing drives and tied career-highs with 27 points and four steals as No. 8 Oregon State built an early lead and cruised to a 72-53 victory over Utah yesterday. Ruth Hamblin had 14 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks, and Sydney Wiese added seven points and 10 assists for the Beavers (22-3, 13-1 Pac-12), who won their 12th in a row.

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Jordin Canada scored 16 points, including the game-clinching free throws with 2.3 seconds left, and added seven rebounds, nine assists and six steals as No. 14 UCLA edged Washington 63-59. Canada’s jumper gave the Bruins a 61-57 lead with 2:01 left and Kelsey Plum’s free throws pulled the Huskies within two at 1:07.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) – Jakob Poeltl scored 25 as Utah faced little resistance in a 88-47 victory over Washington State yesterday. The Utes (19-7, 8-5) remain in striking distance for the Pac-12 regular-season title with the win. The Cougars (9-16, 1-12) were never competitive after the first five minutes.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) – Jillian Alleyne scored 26 points and grabbed 17 rebounds and Oregon pulled away in the third quarter and beat Colorado 77-70 last night for its fifth straight win. Alleyne was 9 of 14 from the field and leads the nation with 21 double-doubles. Maite Cazorla added 23 points and five assists, and Kat Cooper chipped in 18 points for the Ducks (19-6, 8-6 Pac-12).
