Eugene takes two out of three from Boise
The Eugene Emeralds started the season and the weekend off with a pair of wins over the Boise Hawks… coming out on top 6-1 Friday and winning 2-1 Saturday evening. Yesterday three homers in the first four innings helped spot the Emeralds to a 4-nothing lead… But, Eugene went 9 scoreless innings following that to lose 6-4 in 13 innings.
The Emeralds will be in Hillsboro today for the start of a three game series at Ron Tonkin Field against the Hops.
