Hops hit their way to win over Emeralds
The Hillsboro Hops used 13 hits to power their way to a 7-4 Northwest League win over the Eugene Emeralds last night at PK Park. It was the first time this season the Emeralds had lost two straight… and it was the first series they have lost, after winning six straight.
Eugene will have a chance to rectify both situations… when they start a brand new series in Richland, Washington tonight against the Tri-City Dust Devils.
