Eugene closer shuts the door in the ninth
Eugene reliever Alex Santana threw two innings and earned his second win of the season as the Emeralds edged the Canadians last night, 8-7, in Vancouver. Mark Malave closed out the ninth, striking out three, for his second save of the year.
The Ems put up 15 hits… but committed four errors on the night. The five game series continues through the weekend and wraps up Monday evening.
