Two Eugene players to start for Northwest League
This is day two of the minor league all star break… Two Eugene Emeralds, 1st baseman Chris Pieters and left fielder Robert Garcia will start for the Northwest League this evening when they go up against the all stars from the Pioneer League. The game is being played in Ogden, Utah at Linquist Field, the home park for the Ogden Raptors.
In last year’s inaugural all star game in Spokane, the Northwest League came out on top 6-5 in ten innings.
