Canadians manhandle Eugene
After finishing the first half of the Northwest League season with a 28-10 record, the Eugene Emeralds have been struggling.
Eugene pitchers gave up 14 hits; the defense committed two errors and batters struck out 14 times while managing only six hits in an 8-4 loss to the Vancouver Canadians last night.
It was game one of a five game home stand for the Emeralds who, despite losing five of their last eight games still have a 30-15 record.
