Oregon State snaps losing streak before Christmas break

featureSecond half surge drives Beavers to victory

Kendal Manuel had 17 points with four 3-pointers and Oregon State broke open a close game in the second half to beat Kent State 69-50.

The game was back-and-forth much of the second half, but the Beavers went on an 18-0 run, capped by a vicious Drew Eubanks dunk to take an 18-point lead with 4:27 remaining.

The win snapped a five game losing streak for Oregon State.  The Beavers will be off the court a week. They open conference play next Wednesday night at home against USC.
