Prep basketball:

Things were a little disrupted at the Sky-West Crossover basketball meetup at North Valley and Douglas High Schools.  The Siuslaw Boys beat Hidden Valley 51-37 Friday morning, then lost to Henley Saturday afternoon 48-42.

The Lady Vikings couldn’t make it all the way to North Valley High School in Grants Pass on Friday. They faced Klamath Union at South Umpqua in Myrtle Creek Friday where the Pelicans came out on top 39-35.  Siuslaw fell to Brookings-Harbor 51-29 Saturday afternoon.

Next up for the Vikings, the Junction City Tigers tomorrow.   The girls play in Florence, the boys in JC… both games tip off at seven.

Mapleton was scheduled to face Crow Saturday afternoon… that game was called because of the weather.  It’ll be made up later this month.

On the college court…

Oregon cruised to an 85-66 win over Washington State Saturday in Pullman.  The Ducks remain one of two undefeated teams in conference play, along with Arizona.  They’ll host Oregon State Saturday night.

The Beavers lost to Washington Saturday afternoon, 87-61.
