The Mapleton Sailors were swept by the Siletz Valley Warriors.  The Lady Warriors came out on top 44-21 in the opener.  In the nightcap, Siletz Valley beat the Sailors 67-56.

Pac-12 Basketball

Dillon Brooks returned from missing a game with a foot injury to score 17 points and lead No. 10 Oregon over Utah, 73-67 last night.  The Ducks will head to Colorado tomorrow where they’ll take on the Buffalo at 6:30… airtime on KCST is at six.

In Boulder George King scored a season-high 24 points, including a key 3-pointer down the stretch, and Colorado snapped a seven-game losing streak by beating Oregon State 85-78 last night. Bryce Peters added 15 points for Colorado which won the battle of winless conference teams.  The Beavers will be in Salt Lake City tomorrow against Utah.  That game is at four… the pregame show on KCFM is at 3:30.

On the schedule tonight…

The Siuslaw Vikings will wrap up the first half of the Far West League season on the road in North Bend against the Bulldogs.  The girls top off at six, the boys around 7:30.  The pregame show on KCST is at 5:45.

Viking wrestlers are on the mats at Marshfield High School today and tomorrow for the Bay Cities Duals.
