Prep baseball and softball
After several starts and stops yesterday, the Viking baseball makeup against South Umpqua was postponed yesterday yet again… it’ll be made up in Florence at 5 pm. Today the two teams will meet in Riddle for a double header… game one is at noon… the pregame show on KCST is at 11:45.
Viking softball is at home today for two games against the #3 ranked South Umpqua Lancers beginning at three.
Track and Field
Also on the schedule… the top 4A 3-thousand meter runner in the state, Siuslaw’s Celie Mans, will be competing this evening in Portland at the Jesuit Twilight meet… tomorrow, nearly two dozen Vikings will be at the Grants Pass Rotary Invitational.
College baseball
Top ranked Oregon State is at home this weekend against the USC Trojans for a three-game conference series. Game one is at 5:30 this evening… the pregame show on KCFM is at five. First pitch tomorrow is at one, Sunday the game begins at one also… the pregame show is set for 12:30 both days.
Oregon will host Arizona State for three games beginning tonight at PK Park in Eugene…
