Final Games of the Season for the Vikings
A tough season for Viking Softball ends with a pair of losses in a double header against North Bend. In the early game they could not get their bats going, suffering a 14 nothing loss. But managed to get some offense in the second scoring 5 runs, yet still falling short in a 10-5 loss.
Viking boys did not fair any better in their final stand at home. Also against North Bend. In the first game of their double header they went down 8-1 and suffered a 9-5 loss in the second.

Collegiate baseball is on the diamond a day early this week to open the Mother’s Day weekend competition. This evening’s first Civil War game between Oregon and Oregon State will air on KCFM at 5:30, first pitch at PK Park is set for 6 o’clock….
