Women’s College World Series Next for Ducks
The Lady Ducks won a battle over the weekend to allow them to advance them to the Women’s College World Series. After a 4-0 win Friday night against Kentucky they had their hands full on Saturday coming from 3 runs down they battled back to score 2 in the 5th and 4 more in the 7th to eliminate the Wildcats with a 6-5 victory. They are headed to Oklahoma City. They face #7 Washington on Thursday.
Beaver’s Finish Strong
Oregon State Beavers finished off their regular season with a 4 game sweep of Abilene Christian. The Beavers finish the season with a 49 and 4 record. They will host the first round of the NCAA tournament this weekend. Oregon will face Holy Cross in Corvallis on Friday night. First Pitch is at 8 pre game is at 7:30 on KCFM
Ducks Drop Series to Bruins
The Ducks split a pair on Friday and Saturday. Friday night a tough battle against the bruins but came out on top 2-1 and Saturday got trampled in a 10-1 thrashing. The bruins took the series 2 games to 1.
