It has been an exciting week for the Oregon State Beavers. After clinching a spot in the College World Series they received news that Jake Mulholland was named Freshman All American and Max Engelbrekt PAC-12’s Scholar-Athlete of the year.  And in yesterday’s first round of the MLB Draft starting pitcher Drew Rasmussen was the 31st pic overall and is headed to the Tampa Bay Rays.  The Beavers continue their quest for the championship this Saturday at Noon against the Titans of Cal State Fullerton.  Coverage can be heard on KCFM beginning at 11:30

Ducks Send One in First Round

Oregon Ducks Junior Left Handed Pitcher, David Peterson becomes the First-First Rounder since 2011for the Ducks.  He was chosen 20th in yesterdays draft and will be heading to the New York Mets.

Em’s Return

2016 Northwest League Eugene Emeralds will return to the diamond on Thursday, to defend their title against the league’s other seven teams.  This evening fans get their first look at the 2017 edition of the Emeralds during the third annual Em’s Fest at PK Park.  Tonight’s event is free and open to the public and gives the public an opportunity to meet the coaches and players before Thursday’s opener against Vancouver.
