Emeralds Drop Road Opener
The Eugene Emeralds have dropped their first road game against the Boise Hawks. It was a back and forth game with the Hawks going up 4-2 in the fourth and added a 5th run in the 6th inning. Eugene answered with a knock in the 6th and 3 runs in the in the 7th taking a 6-5 lead. The Hawks tied the game in the bottom of the 9th sending the game to extra innings, but the Ems couldn’t take the lead back and Boise capped it in the bottom of the tenth. Final score 7-6 Boise. The Ems and Hawks continue their series this evening.
Seminoles and Tigers Tangle Tonight
This evening on ESPN the Florida State Seminoles meet the Tigers of LSU to determine who will face the OSU Beavers on Friday. OSU is scheduled to take on the winner on Friday at noon Pacific time with a pre-game at 11:30 on KCFM.
