Lady Viks Win!; Ducks Have To Fix Penalties

Lady Vikings Take 5

The Lady Vikings were at home last night against the South Umpqua Lancers.  The Viking Girls Struggled in the first two sets falling 25-21 and 25-17, but then turned it around and evening up the score by taking the Lancers down 25-17 and 25-23.  The Vikings finished the match in the 5th set 15-13 for the win.

Ducks Must Solve Mistakes

Ducks Assistant Coach Mario Cristobal says in order for them to win against Cal this Saturday is to take what they learned from the Arizona State game and not repeat it.

“The most important thing is eliminating the penalties.  You know and with that a little bit is communication a little bit is being out of sync.”

Cristobal says executing well on first downs is the key to keeping the offense on schedule.  The Ducks face Cal Saturday evening.  The game will be on KCST beginning with the pre-game at 6pm
