Ducks Ground Eagles; OSU Women Travel To NC

OU Ladies Double Eagles

The Lady Ducks showed persistence despite some early fatigue in last nights win over the Eastern Washington Eagles.  8 turnovers in the first quarter gave hints of a little stress on the team but went 8 for 12 from the field and took a commanding lead 23-8.  Sophomore Forward Ruthy Hebard was once again perfect with 7 for 7 shots made from the field and 8 for 8 from the free throw line.  The Ducks led all but 10 seconds in the game.  The Duck bench contributed heavily too with all player getting at least 10 minutes of playing time and scoring 18 points.  Final Score 81-40

The Oregon State Women are on the hardwood at North Carolina Central today in Durham, North Carolina.
