Honorable Mention goes to junior Siuslaw Viking Lady Basketball player Madison Reynolds.  Madison was named to the All-Tournament Team this past weekend for her offensive and defensive rebounding skills with 29 total rebounds in three tournament games at the Les Schwab Eagle Booster Classic.

Ducks Squeeze Out Win

Texas Southern gave the Ducks a scare last night in Matthew Knight arena.  The looked a little sluggish in the beginning of the game and the Tigers kept it close going into half time only one point down.  But the Ducks pressed hard in the second half but the tigers held close with just one point separating the winless Texas team from the Ducks with 3 and a half minutes remaining.  The Ducks managed to hold off the Tigers for the win, 74-68
