Lady Vikings Take Second In Bowling Championship

On Saturday the Siuslaw Viking girls bowling team went to state competitions.  The Vikings placed second in the tournament championships and team leader Abby Coday won first team all-state and state MVP.

Ducks Ward Off Zona

Also on Saturday the Oregon Ducks took the 14th ranked Arizona Wildcats into overtime and then systematically took apart their offense with full court pressure defense to defeat the wildcats at Matthew Knight Arena. 98-93

Beavers Put A Fork In The SunDevils

The Beavers were also victorious at Gill coliseum against the Arizona State SunDevils.  Holding on with 37 seconds left by adding 4 free throws for a 79-75 win.  All 5 starters for the Beavers were in double figures.

8-0 Start for the Beavers

This past weekend on the diamond the Beavers improved their record to 8 and 0  defeating Ohio state on Friday 10-8, the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday 10-3 and a repeat defeat on Sunday against the Buckeyes 6-1

Duck Take First Road Series From Loyola Marymount

The Ducks were in Los Angeles playing Loyola Marymount over the weekend.  Oregon took 2 of three from the lions.  After losing Friday’s matchup the Ducks came back for a 2-1 victory on Saturday and a 9-7 win on Sunday.
