Vikings Take Double Header

Viking baseball was on the road yesterday in Kaiser where they played at Volcano Stadium.  Game one of the double header against Jefferson saw a lot of walks and 6 errors but the Viking boys fought through their mistakes to bounce back into the lead.  They trailed 8-6 going into the top of the seventh and scored 3 runs to take the victory 9-8.  Evan Teeter came into the game in the fifth inning and kept Jefferson at bay allowing only one run.

In the second game of the double header still brimming with confidence over the first win coach Tom Shinn said the team went to the plate aggressively racking up 10 hits and 13 runs with 10 stolen bases.  Caleb Hennessee gets the win on the mound with 9 strike outs. Final Score 13-1

Lady Vikings Face Tough Battle

The lady Vikings were also on the diamond last night against Jefferson.  Jefferson defeated the Viks 15-2.

 

Extra Innings for the Beavers…Again

The Beavers squeezed out a win in ten innings last night against Nevada as Adley Sutschman scored on an inside the park home run for an 8-7 victory.

Ducks Elish Tosses Perfect Game

Duck women on the softball diamond won a double header against Portland state 8-2 in the first game and 3-0 in the second.  Miranda Elish tossed a perfect game for the second win.
