Track Event Cancelled
A track and field event that was supposed to include the Siuslaw High School JV team was cancelled after a report of a possible bomb on the campus of Douglas High School. The event has not been rescheduled as of yet. The threat was determined to be a false report.
Vikings Blanked by Bruins
It was a tough outing on the mound for Siuslaw High School yesterday in Brookings. Coach Tom Shinn said the team had a hard time hitting the ball and were kept off balance by some good pitching by Brookings-Harbor. Caleb Hennessee records the loss for the Vikings after 3 innings. The final score was 10-0.
