An accident with injuries blocked the intersection of quince and Highway 126. At about 2:10 this afternoon a motorcycle was struck by a late model Red Chevy Silverado near the entrance to true value hardware. The Silverado was turning west bound onto 126 from quince when it struck the motorcycle, which was traveling east bound, pinning it under the vehicle. The driver of the motorcycle was thrown from the bike and sustained injuries. It appeared that it was mainly the lower right side of his body. He was sitting up being attended to by paramedics from Western Lane Ambulance. State Highway Patrol and Florence Police were also on the scene.
