Vikings Play Hard Despite Loss; Lady Viks Fall to Bulldogs; Far West League JV Meet; Beavers Take Ducks

Bulldogs Take Vikings

A display of resilience.  That is what coach Tom Shinn said about yesterday’s defeat at the hands of North Bend.  A 6 run third inning for the bulldogs could have made it easy for the boys to quit, but Shinn says they continued to scrap and work hard.  North Bend put up 13 runs overall in the win.  The Vikings managed two runs on 5 hits.  Caleb Hennessee records the loss for the Vikings with 3 innings pitched and 7 earned runs.

It was also a tough day for the Lady Vikings on the diamond as they traveled to North bend.  The Lady Bull Dogs put up 22 runs against the Vikings for a 22-2 win.
