Ducks Defeat SunDevils
The Lady Ducks took to the Diamond this morning against the Arizona State University SunDevils. The Women’s College World Series opened in Oklahoma City at 9 am Pacific Time. The Lady Ducks defeated the ASU SunDevils 11-6 and advance to face either Washington or Oklahoma tomorrow evening at 4 p.m. pacific time.
Athlete of the Year Celebration
Tomorrow evening at Siuslaw High School will be the Award ceremony for the Athlete of the Year. 42 athletes will be recognized for their accomplishments in sports during the 2017/2018 school year. The ceremony begins with a dessert at 6:30 presented by the Siuslaw High School Culinary Class and some entertainment from the Siuslaw High School Band as well as the presenting of the 2018/2019 Cheer Squad. Awards will be given out at 7:00. The event will be at the Mall at Siuslaw High School.
