Beavers Have Reason to be Optomistic

Heading into the Super Regionals the Oregon State Beavers are 61-35 in post season play dating back to the beginning of the program in 1907.  Current head coach Pat Casey has been at the helm for 56 of those victories.  In Super regional action the Beavers are 10-4.  This is the 7th time that OSU has advanced to this point since 2005 and the second consecutive year.  Against this weekend rival, Minnesota, the Beavers are 5-3 all time.  They last met in 2016 in Surprise, Arizona.  While the outcome is not yet written, the Beavers have to be optimistic with a 56-6 record at home over the last 2 seasons.  Tomorrow afternoon’s game in Corvallis will air on KCFM beginning at 1:30.
